Overview

Did you know that WearCheck is still the leading oil condition monitoring company in Africa, after 40 years in business?

We specialise in reliability solutions services and the scientific analysis of oil and other fluids from mechanical and electrical systems. We help to boost the availability and reliability of components, thereby helping our customers to operate more efficiently and to save money on maintenance.

Our customers operate in many industries such as mining and earthmoving, transport, shipping, industrial, aircraft and electrical.

Alongside WearCheck’s traditional fluid analysis services - which cover the analysis of fuels, transformer oils, coolants, greases and filters – WearCheck customers also have access to our reliability solutions (RS) services and our transformer chemistry services (TCS).

Our RS team specialises in thermal imaging, vibration analysis, laser alignment, balancing and a host of other RS techniques.

Our TCS team has made the monitoring of transformer oils their speciality, reducing the risk of unexpected downtime in the transformer industry. Click here for an overview of WearCheck’s transformer chemistry services.

WearCheck’s flag flies high over 14 world class laboratories across Africa and beyond. You can find the labs in South Africa (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Middelburg) and our international labs in, Mozambique, Ghana, Zimbabwe, DRC, Namibia, India, Dubai and Zambia - at Lumwana mine and Kitwe.  We also have support offices in RSA in Bloemfontein, Rustenburg, Steelpoort, Port Elizabeth and Kuruman.

It remains a proud achievement for us that WearCheck is still the only oil analysis company in Africa with ISO 9001 quality certification and ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management programme, and ISO 17025 accreditation for its laboratory centric quality management programme. Our dedication to ongoing investment in new technology and staff training has ensured that all equipment in WearCheck‘s laboratories is state-of-the-art, and our employees are highly skilled. All our laboratories are largely automated and integrated with the latest information technology. Research and development plays a major part in the company’s continuous commitment to improving systems.

A high point of excitement for us is the launch of our brand new Condition Monitoring App – this makes our condition monitoring expertise available at your very fingertips 24/7/365. What could be more convenient?  Click here to download the app for FREE: Android Google Play Store / Apple IOS App Store.

At WearCheck our ethos is, above all else, an unswerving commitment to ethical operations and accuracy, and operational areas are managed ethically and independently to ensure products and services conducted comply with the division’s strict international standards.
